Norwegian Granite

This is Beech's grave. If you wet the surface of the small cross you'll see that it's made of dark blue granite that catches the light and glistens.

Beech's grave

This granite comes from only one place: Larvik in Norway. All of this rock has now been quarried but lighter blue granite is still being dug up in Larvik and is often used on shop fronts.
