Wetland plants

Wetland

This low-lying area has always collected water, but in 1988 two pools were excavated and wetland plants introduced.

The pools have now grassed over but the colourful show of wetland plants remains: yellow iris, great burnet, greater birdsfoot-trefoil, meadowsweet and watermint.
