Events

We welcome new volunteers to help us carry out practical conservation work in the cemetery. Come and join us every Tuesday from 10am to 12pm and on the first Sunday of every month from 10am to 3.30pm. We supply tools, gloves and training along with plenty of free hot drinks and biscuits to keep you going. We cover all reasonable travelling expenses.

Regular tours around the cemetery are on the first Sunday of every month starting at 2pm.
All tours are free of charge with the meeting point at The Gatehouse
at the end of Cemetery Avenue, off Ecclesall Road.

Saturday 15th May 10am	Morning Song - RSPB led walk to see and hear the Cemetery’s bird life (meet near the Anglican Chapel, Cemetery Road)
Saturday 22nd May 2pm	Sudden Death - Tragic, gruesome, even comic! Hear the stories ofresidents who suffered an untimely demise*
Sunday 6th June 2pm	Historical Tour - An introduction to the history and residents of the Cemetery*
Friday 11th June 12.30pm	Desk to Death - Step out of your office for a 45 minute guided walk*

Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th July 1 to 4pm	Victorian Murder Mystery There has been a death! Can you help the detective find the killer? Additional events for the day to be announced*
